A Lesson Learnt Through Chess.

It just seems like yesterday when I was trying hard to learn this amazingly fascinating game of Chess. Daddy was teaching me this game, and lifting each of the Chess figures, he told me the name and how it functioned. One question that dawned upon my head then was 'Why on Earth is the Queen so powerful?' She moved the farthest, she would protect her King, could go in any direction and just in case the Queen failed, the King almost lost his kingdom. But why? See, my childish logic told me that the King should be the most powerful. I mean, yeah, that's how its supposed to be right? After all, he is the King! Hello?!

I asked Daddy and he didnt really have an an answer to it but as we all know no matter how many people say 'that is how it is', a kids childish mind would ever accept that explanation for anything. So I kept wondering and wondering. Eventually this thought just faded away. But now that I've grown up and I look back at those days, I know why the Queen is the most powerful character in a game of Chess. It is because its a representation of the real life. Yes, you got that one right, a representation of the real life scenario!

The queen’s wisdom, service, kindness and love will sustain the king and if his heart is steady, the king is empowered to impact his kingdom with greatness. However, when a queen fails to appreciate the grace of her flexibility, endurance and ability and lives resenting the king’s apparent privileges, she misses her destiny and compromises her husband’s kingdom of influence, limiting the destiny which God had intended for the royal couple and their lineage.

Yes, we do live in a pathetic and ruthless world where women are treated as a piece of crap (I'm in noway saying that every man treats women like that, but most of them do. And no protesting against one crime, uploading black dots of shame and posting stuff on  social networking sites only to call a girl in hotpants a whore DOES NOT count as respecting women, get a life!) but then these little things in life are the ones that we, as women should notice and use as a driving force for ourselves to stand up tall and become independent, right? The world will not change, we will have to, but not our dressing sense or way of talking and walking but our thought process. We dont need men to support us. Just see how the Queen in  game of Chess can change the entire game within seconds, yes my loves, you have the power to do the same as well. All that you have to do is believe in yourself and your capabilities! :)

You know what i believe in?

Every guy needs a girl when he is in a mess, 'cause the Queen will always protect her King just like in a game of chess! :)

So go out there girls, lets show the world what we are capable of! Lets show them how we can change things within seconds. Lets unite and change our futures on our own instead of waiting for a god  sent angel to do it for us! Lets GO!

Cheers! :)
